So Long Winter walkies

Hi bloggiepals,

before woo say So Long Winter! 

i wanted to share some last winter walkies photos.

woo see, Nordude lives right around the corner 

from the TM estate and we meet up fur

walkies all the time.

no matter how many gazillions times we've done this,

he still goes into supah coocoo excited nutty mode 

when he sees me.

well actually FAD. cuz she has cookies in

her pocket.

 but he has to get past me furst!

then we have to be sure to stop by the 

neighborhood baseball field 

to release his nutties.

nope not me.. i'm not going out there in the

knee deep snowballs.

okay this is taking entirely too long

bor- ring!

so that was a few weeks ago...

it's now in the 50s & toola hot fur me already!

time to put in a request for the AC unit installation

 in my room...

stoopid gentle leader

hi bloggie pals,

well since i've been MIA fur awhile, thought i'd 

get woo up to speed on what's been happening.

furst, my bean, FAD is off fur the SUMMAH!

and is home totally interrupting my day long naptime.

yep and she's still trying to get me to walkies 4 miles a day!
one problem.. my engine overheats quickly & then stalls.

so it's easier on the weekends when i meet up 
with my cuzin, nordude.
he's like a carrot on a stick.

sometimes he likes to mess with me
knowing i'm nevah free from my gentle leader.

note: my fun aunt bee has my reins.

oops. lost my rear wheels.

look out CHOMP!

 woo can run.. 

but woo can't hide!

sometime woo need a sandwich

the weather has been almost like summahtime here in MA

that everything is growing and blooming and so furry pretty!

this has been the most exhausting walkies.

HEAT wAve!

 A heat wave struck Massachewsits last week..

ok fur AN entire day! 

 temperatures reached a sweltering 70F!!

(ask mango- his brains almost overbaked on his deck)

it is making the walkies in the hood a little more colorful.

mmmm.. this bush smells so pretty.

with a little less walkies ..

a little more Break time!
ENGINE OVERHEATING  LIGHT ON!

in the middle of the sidewalk )

neighborhood walkies: over the snow banks

hi bloggie pals,

yah yah yah!

it snowed snowed snowed!

last wednesday, over a foot of snow was dumped on Massachewsits.

alright so when i headed out to the backyard,

rut roh..

 toola much snow. i'm totally NOT plowing thru that!

i know i'll just hold it!

or maybe not.

ok, plan B.

so i tried looking out the side door.

 my neighbor, Bernie was busy shoveling off his roof.

not a good sign.

woo could only see the car's antennas

double whammie not good.

hey, the doors snowed in fur the second time today!

thought i shoveled it an hour ago.

 can woo..help me out? my back is hurting.
see the shovel...

muwahh, thanx.

 i wasn't the only crazie enough to venture outside.

woo can't tell but i think that's Dexter
 pulling his new adopted family on a sled.

(guess since the Mango Minster started, he decided instead of

being ToTAlly neglected.. well woo see)

 as i started walking,

 i began to notice more & more of these strange snowbeans.

who are they? where did they come from?!

& why do they keep smiling at me?

anywoo these snow tunnel thingys are funballs!

they already have lots of yellow graffiti too.

(this photo was actually taken a few days later)

some houses even had new icy decorations

while a few were still in the Xmas spirit (yes!)
(look closely, santa hasn't unpeeled himself off the siding)

 time to start heading back before it gets too dark.

wait wait wait..lookie, the Sandwich Shop!

gimme turkey & cheese sandwich.

i was starving.. but nope. 

CLOSED!

as if!

good thing home was only a block away.

i could have parished.
