Lift Off!

hi bloggie pals,

sorry i've been MIA- my excuse??.. well, grampy & grammy 

are in town from Wisconsin! this may seem like wootie woot fun-

  the truth is i get leftout most of the time.  

 except when it came to the Hudson Hot Air Balloon Festival!

see, it's in the VERY PLACE i go for my morning walkies. 

if woo get there by 6am, woo can get an up close view of the pilots 

heating their balloons and tada..LIFT OFF!

Ooo Ooo lookie.. the first balloon is filling up.

gotta luv the large flames lighting up the balloons @sunrise.

beans were everywhere with their flashie beasts.

until up, up & away!

don't worrie, nordude was there.

right in the middle of things with my grandpy!

yeah.. um.. me? i'm waaaaay off to the side.

the balloons didn't bother me as much as the beans moving this way 

& that way with those flashing tripod things.

(and rut roh, 2 other doggies were on the field too)

how dare they! grr.

but i was biddy biddy keeping my eye on nordude too!

some beans were lucky enough to snag a ride.
the lady looks horrified -- geesh they're only 2 inches off the ground!

they flew right ovah the infamous froggie pond.

Walkie Adventures: monstah & the machine

it all started after i did my usual routine. See the window -- the 

little preschoolers are my biggest fans. they wave and

blow me kissies when i walk by their window.

it's like i'm my own parade.. geesh.

went around the corner...

no sooner did i spot this new kid in town. 

a full tula-inspection was required!

i approached him furry carefully 

with a little snooter 2 snooter action!

okay..

funny he has the shiniest furdo! 

gee what kinduv shampoo do ya use?

aha.. he carries a feedbag of treaties like me too!

 now if i could just get this buckley thingy open...

but it won't budge.. somebody help!

.. too tight. grr.

 woot woot- it's a three day holiday weekend.

the weather couldn't be nicer!

so come'on put my gentle leader on & let's go for my walkies.
