Training Bloggie #15: Nordude Training

hi bloggie pals,

It's been awhile since the last training update.
 every Saturday i still do the usual, 
head to grad skool with the usual suspects-

except my training doesn't stop therah.   

And then there is my real-life NORDUDE training.

see, one of my goals is to be able to play with my cuzin, Nordude!

...but take a look at this training footage.

it's got me scratchin' my head?? woo'll see.

first i need to give woo the setup.

 remembah a couple of months ago..

we were finally close enough to touch nozes &

i gave his fuzzbutt a thorough examination 

fur the first time. woot woot!

both of us were on-leash- mostly b/c 

he luvs to jump his long tennessee leggies right on your head!

and then who knows if i go ruffian on him.

the other day, i tagged along on his walkies-

through the trails and of course, off to the froggie pond,
where he unleashes his mr. berserko-nez on his usual suspects.

well, i become a little unglued when other doggies run around,
well move period. 
my training requires me to practice 'watching' calmly or nicely.
(although sometimes i'm trying to play too- it just doesn't 'look' pretty
-could easily be misconstrued if woo know what i mean)

what! how?? who?? huh??

i did move to a shady location & waited patiently.
we're talking 50 minutes until he was finished.
only so much fun woo can watch.

what wasn't shown

-the part when he charged right towards me!

we bumped noses, he ran off so i would chase him.

oh, if only i could chase him! how fun would that be!

( tm showed no hackles, no grr, nothing- she luvs him)

eYewAtch friday: croaked up

okay okay, my cuzin norweed's obsession is contagious!

if woo know him, he's got frogs frogs frogs frogs
on the brainballs!

i just don't get it?

i mean, really.. he gets around a pond

and he's hoppier than a frog in a rainstorm.

geesh!

yesterday i stopped at the local frog pub.
sure enough. i'm trying to get a nice cool beverage.
and...i hear "Frogs Rule, Dogs Drool!" outta nowherah!

what do woo think happens next?

CROAK! a plate of frog legs?

duh duh dunnnnnnn.
take a lookie at actual frog footage!

nothing! frogga who? frogga what?
how is this fun?

(no frogs were hurt in this posting.
b/c i'm not norweed) 

Still need a frog-fix.

BE KIND TO ANIMALS WEEK

hi bloggiepals, 

Did you know it's Be Kind to Animals Week (May 2-8th)? The purpose is to "commemorate the role animals play in our lives, promote ways to continue to treat them humanely, and encourage others, especially children, to do the same." American Humane Society.

Guess what? I had acts of tulakindness a couple of times this week..
see 4 yourself!

it was a beautiful 80 degree day..perfect for a walkies. 

nope, tula hot for me!

it took a food lure to get me to move out of the car.

finally got moving on the trail.. except my parking brake kept getting stuck!

mom had to tweet about it-- geesh.

Annie's funny farm tweeted back- the problem isn't my

brake, but maybe my starter needs to be replaced. as if!

we headed over to the pavillion area to cool off.. 
when i spotted this lonely picnic-goer.

knock knock anyone home? uppphs... guess so..

i still insisted on snooter 2 snooter resuscitation.

ok ok, hop on-- i'll give ya a ride back 2 the river.

Bon Voyage little fella..my work is done.

now check this out..

ummm. mom got excited about a first frog sighting.. she made this

video for my cuzin norwood who's at camp lockdown all week. 

(boy, he's missing out!)

but... this is really NOT an example of being kind to animals.

At least i did my part!
