eYewAtch friday: at the farmstand

Posted by with 12 comments
hi bloggie pals,
it's Norwood's eyewatch friday!
i'm going to take woo along to one of
my favorite friday stops at
the local farmstand-

it's always busy and has the freshest fruits
and vegetables grown natively in MA.
believe me, these aren't any ordinary fruits & veggies eithah!

i usually just watch from the car- woo see
alotta wacky things happen inside..safer to keep an eYewatch from herah.
go ahead in if woo like?!

the kiwi girls try to charm visitors to go limey!
personally, no one wants a kiwi who talks tula much.

ketchup? mmmmm.. woo mean to put on hot dogs
and hamburgahs
and french fries and norweed
and rabbits and squirrels and??

these potato-heads- play games to pass the time.
bet the one with the big red lippers would taste great baked with cheese,
bacon & a dollop of sour cream & chives!

silly mangoes-- always trying to entertain themselves.
 new jokes pulleaze!

uh.. a friendly Floreeda gator.
he mustuv made a wrong turn.
woo know this guy bruce?
scurrie on my friend!

From Millan.Net

funnie. mom only bought flowers.
good choice! what did woo get?

and that concludes our eYewAtch frIdAy.
 happy 4th of July weekend!

Hello bloggiepalz,

Look, i was watching out the window on the drive home...
umph, i was thinking to myself, this is new.

(the gentle leader kinduv takes away from the pic. tell my mom!)

when this sign caught my mince pies (right Eric, that's what we're calling eyes?!)
Nevah learned how to read, but i certainly recognized the picture!

B-A-N-A-N-A-S

I
BANANAS!
DROOL DROOL

Hold onto your seats, quick turn into this popcorn stand.. em farm stand.
it was filled with flowers, fruits, vegetables, nuts, maple syrup, and i didn't see the rest b/c i had to stay in the car.

while mom took forevah shopping & snapping photos of flowers! (getting the feeling she wants other subjects to photograph)

No worries, i was totally entertained with this old lady driving around.
the farm had rows & rows of plants.. hope the lady wasn't drunk.
there was alot of weavin' & turnin' & zoomin' through the fields.

i also kept my mince pies on mom too. just when she picked up some flowers, i had to give her a bark- remembah what happens to them? you put them on the windowsill & PEWF! they turn brown.

same with other plants.. no green thumb in this household.

(thought the tiny pink flowers were cute)

ok.. here she came back with bags full of bananas, raspberries, cherries, blueberries.. if it ends in berry, she got it. ( and chocolate covered almonds & pistashios-not 4 me)
all those berries made yummy frosty yogurt treats!
mmmmmm... it was berry berry good on a summah day!

Before i leave, here's a word from our sponsers:

go bananas!

A Lovely Afternoon Walkie by the National Grid

Yep, you heard it right-- a walk by the electric company. It has a large grassie area with small furry creatures living in the tall field of grass, flowers & mounds of dirt. The helicopters sometimes land there too. The trail winds along a small lake for a refreshing drinkie before heading out into the neighborhood.

Come'on! Let's go.
.. don't forget to bring a clicker & pouch of yummy foodies. you never know when they could come in handy!!

with all the pretty daisy and yellow buttercups, mom couldn't resist making me look a little more girlie. isn't a pink bandana with butterflies enough?

sights along the way-- had to take a pic of the froggie (bark out to Norwood!) and oops, had to take care of some personal bidnez. (thought there was a thang called privacy)

photo break- geesch! with mom

you would think i lived in a rural area.. this is just another random farm that remained over many, many years while the area went under development. we always stop to say hello to the cows, horses, and llama dhama ding dongs. (don't see them today though)
while we're at it.. good time to get some scritchie scratches in.

and take a breather!

not done yet.

okaaay, someone wants to get a move on.

almost to the car.. wait.. is that another dog.. high alert .. sound the alarms. hope you have superpowah foodables with you. stay tuned .. you'll see exactly why you need them!

sunny, 80 degree weather today. yeehoo!
got 2 go--

toodles,

Stop Horsing Around & Friendly Award

Posted by with 11 comments
Oh New England Farms pop up in the most random places (so not like Brooklyn at all). There happens to be a farm in the town of Northborough, MA., right across the street from one of my fav parks. It's a must to stop by my four legged horsey friends.

So I thought....for some reason, they stare, every one of them! and scruff their hooves from a distance. I take it as a hello. Funny how noone comes ovah... maybe the electric fencing has somethang to do with it. I stare back and scruff my toes toes right back at ya!

Hay hay horsies, (thought I'd break the ice with a joke) When does a horse neigh?Whinny wants to!.. hehehehehe. Nothing!

Alright, onward and upward...

That's when I heard all the chattering.. hey tula, where's your saddle? neiiigh neeigh snort snort. -- That's just not right--

il mio amico dolce (my sweet friend) , Lucia! gave me this Friendly Award. Grazie si! Lucia... you could nevah have enough furriends like you.

Now it's my turn to pass it along to my waggin' furriends:

Norwood, yes he's my cuzin --did you know he leaves cookies on mom's car for me every day!(and refers to me as cookie monstah).

Ozball: who always stops by and has taught me a few yoga moves. I am kinda bendy.

Archie & Agatha: thanks for looking out for this new kid on the bloggie!

Sally & Eric: who gave me very useful beauty tips. Grazie!
