hold up... wait for me... don't want to miss eYewatch friday (shhh on saturday)

the good news is I got my wagger back!
smiles, tail wags & oh yes, my apetite has created a foodie monstah!

you'll find me right next to the kitchen and my bowl..

big double whammpy MWUAHH to all my bloggie pals!
(especially bruce, goofball & stumpy)
so many nice thoughts & wishes
- luv ya luv ya

this was me on thursday- mom could see me through the bottom right window.

after 2 days of diarrhea & vomiting every 3 hours, not eating anything,
and
refusing or cooperating to get in the car to go to the vet,

mom called out the big guns..

she found a vet that transports! (THANK GOODNESS!!)

wahoo- luckily my bloodwork was all within normal ranges
so, just a matter of treating my diarrhea
i left with a bunch of meds to soothe & coat my tummy and stop the diarrhea.

magic meds.. b/c i was feeling bettah before i even left the vet!

yep, hopped in the car too.

Lesson learned:
mom needs to read the labels on medication more carefully!
get another job or open another credit card:)
always have a backup emergency plan
--train for this types of situations..

looks like practicing going into my travel crate, walking on a ramp,
and being helped up could be added
to my already furry loooooooooong training plan.

ok, back in bidnez.. i'll be visiting you today!

have a supah labor day weekend!
thanx again,

Yipeeeeeeeeee!!! Stumpy and I will celebrate the weekend, even more than usual, in honor of your recovery. Breaking out the treats...
snausages, puperonis, and Stumpy's favorite...elk meatballs (home-made)

Yeah, I learned the "plan for emergencies" thing the hard way. Still paying for a $5,000 3 year old surgery for my gone to the rainbow bridge for almost a year German Shepherd. Still, I wouldn't have done anything different. pet Insurance can be a help to, but there are plenty of scams out there.

I'll say it again...yipeeeeee ahrooooooooo!!!

Good to know such a thing exists. Despite mom's best attempts, I have not learned how to lay down on the stretcher she bought me and if I ever hurt my leggies I would not be able to get to the vet.

Such a fuss. Glad you are better now. Your mom must have burned up a lot of calories getting stressed for your sorry self. Enjoy the long weekend!

Slobbers,
Mango

Tulah! Hooray! I'm so happy to hear that you are doing much better. I can't believe that you got to ride in the big special truck. That must have been exciting. Keep on waggin'

Wow Tula what a traumatic experience for both you & your Mom! Thank goodness for the vet transport! Glad you're feeling better but maybe your mom needs to do a fundraiser now. Jesea works for a vet so I know how expensive that can be! Yikes!!!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
love ya,
Bruce:)

So glad you're better Tula:)
love ya,

p.s. I forgot to answer your question about the bellowing gators. The first time I heard them Jesea & I were on a boardwalk all by ourselves & we didn't know what that horrible sound was. Yes, we were scared! Now that I know what it is, it doesn't scare me unless it gets too close. I'm pretty sure the gators you have to worry about are the ones you won't see until it's too late! Yikes!!
