hi bloggiepals!
The Fourth of July is herah! well, was herah... oops. i wanted to play Frankie Fruter's Name Game! does it count that i started this post on July 4th?
My 4th was pretty quiet. after a morning walkies, mom left me home to run/walk in a 10K Harvard-Pilgrim event at Gillette Stadium (home of the supahbowl champs, New England Patriots). Norweed's mom talked her into it because the finish line was at the 50 yard line. runnah's got to woot woot it through the tunnel, under a big football helmet and cross the 50 yard line all while being shown on the jumbotran. whew... glad it was her and not me!
of course after her funtimes, i had to be lured outside in the sweltering temps to go to the park. that nite, the fireworks & Boston Pops were enjoyed safe & soundly from the cool sofa. zzzzzz... may have missed some of it.

Ok, now fur playing Frankie Fruter's Name Game!
but. noooooo.. mom thought i didn't seem like a Shasta and wanted to change my name. being akita, her first search was fur a japanese name. see akitas are a national symbol of japan and were used for bear-hunting, so KUMA (japanese 4 bear) came to mind. then she also LUVS wolves.. and thought of the Native American name, TALA (meaning wolf).
Guess what woo get when woo put them togethah?? TULA
howevah, that doesn't mean everybody calls me by that name!
i've been called:
monstah, tooolie, cookie-face, sleepy monstah, muscle butt, tm,
miss tula, rowdy dog, and my grad skool classmates gave me a middle name- tula sue.
