uh.. private & embarrassing.

hi bloggie pals,

 last week-
i wasn't feeling that great.

if woo must know the details,
let me say two words: diarrhea poopies
AHHH!

worse, then i kept licking my woo know what.
okay, it turned into
three more words: big, red & puffy.
OWEEE!

after a few days of this,
my momma made a phone call &
wrapped me up in this plus-sized stretchie ruby shirt.

Geesh, did she sign me up fur a soccer team?

no no.. maybe i'm being wrapped up like a present?
but, she wouldn't give me away?
couldn't be that!

nope.. she loaded up my gear
and a bag of chicken feed and
ZOOMIED ME off to the VET!

NOT THE VET!! I'll stop. REAALL!Y!
The VET makes ME furry stressed & honestly,
i am NOT always cooperative.
so my new vet wants me to wear my ruby shirt
(aka thundershirt)
on my visits along with other gear:)
Then whenevah she enters the room ..
she pulls out the "chill out" bottle
and sprays the air around me.
what? do i offend? hehehe

a quick check of my behind situation
to find nope-no anal sac issues here.

Dr. thought it maybe a side effect of my meds or foodies-
especially if i'm passing lots of gas after eating.
(which means my food isn't agreeing with me
and increases the chance of bloat)
i'm suppose to change my foodies
to like EVO, Blue Buffalo or Wellness
and add probiotics & metamucil to
improve my digestive track.
that's easy!

the vet visit was ovah before ya know..
short & sweet- probably the best one yet.
Although... I wasn't quite sure what the Dr. meant
when she asked me, 'what goes on in that brain of yours?'
huh? good question.
Happy Hump Day
Hope woo are still relaxing ..

Hi Tula! What is it that the vet sprays in the air?? How strange that she makes you wear certain things. Why is that? We haven't been over to see you in so long, it looks like we have missed something! We both changed over to Blue (Natural Lamb & Brown Rice Recipe) in September and we love it. Mommy likes the smell of it too. We hardly ever itch any more, and we even like to eat it for snacks!! Good luck there.

by BLUE do you mean Blue Buffalo? that is what my Ernie is eating. It really seems to like HIM and HE likes it.

Hey TM! Maybe some green beans and Pepcid AC as well like I take. Helps me with the gassy stuff.

Tula, we hope you be feeling a lot better now. Mom says to be careful with EVO. We were all on it for a while (the chicken and turkey formula) and we had terrible gas. She switched us this fall to California Natural Grain-Free Chicken. No more gas. The protein content in EVO is very high.

Wellness makes food for sensitive stomachs - something to look in to. My cat has also taken Pepcid without issue. Glad you're feeling a lil' bit better, and hope you and mom get to the BOTTOM of this!

Oh, Tula, that was almost TMI... :) Hope you're feeling better soon. Better yet, hope you find a great food that you love (and loves you back). We love our Evo, but, yes, it is super high in protein, if you're not used to it. We know you're not old, but you should check out Orijen senior formula--we're not old either, and we eat is sometimes. Brother Jacks eats it regularly, and he's doing great on it. Good luck!

I understands, what foodables are you eating now? I ated Chicken SOup for the dog lovers soul for 6 months and then oh oh..... Chicken soups= lotsa poops! FOund out I has chicken intollerance. Basically chicken gives me the *h*ts.... BOL. I ate blue buffalo for 2 years and nows i eats Solid gold. High quality kibble is very importants for us big doogies as we don't want to gets the bloats. If your foodable swell up bad that a sign they gots too much crap like corns in dem.

Oh and I has a Thunder shirt too, but it makes me look like a skinny dork. the vets makes me stressy too,

If you needs some foodables information you can ask my momma, she's got some standard info we pass out for the Dane REscue on home visits.
